<description>Great post! I agree wholeheartedly with your views on context in the discovery process.

At TuneAttic we&#039;re embarking on taking a curated information approach to music discovery. So we include features such as genre overviews (e.g. http://www.tuneattic.com/genre/electronic/techno) and deep artist bios that include features such as timelines, influences and influenced, landmark albums etc e.g. http://www.tuneattic.com/davidguetta

Other features include:
- Walls of Tunes e.g. http://www.tuneattic.com/profiles/rock/index.html
- Music Maps e.g. http://www.tuneattic.com/maps
- Genre Trees e.g. http://www.tuneattic.com/genre/electronic/trance/tree.html

The site is just a rough beta version with a limited number of artists for now while we have a fully interactive and dynamic version built. The new site and apps should be live by the end of the summer.

Would love to hear any feedback you might have.
