Spectralmind is an innovative music technology company based in Vienna, Austria.

Spectralmind’s technical marvel is our unique audio analysis software that allows computers to ‘hear’ music, just like we humans do. Using this technology, we create music services and applications that assist people all over the world to explore music in a much easier and visually appealing way.

In 2008, a group of music enthusiasts, who also happened to be semantic audio analysis experts, founded Spectralmind, a spin-off venture from the Vienna University of Technology. Our team also consists of academic experts combining knowledge of audio analysis, artificial intelligence, user interface and interaction design.

We develop products and solutions around search, organization and the recommendation of music for different target groups ranging from media asset management to applications for mobile devices.

Our overall vision is to become the leading global provider of user-experience centered visual media exploration services.
